Im not dead

Pues yo casi no actualizo el blog. Hoy me puse a pensar que deberia retomarlo.. No me gusta tener cosas sin usar... Entonces cuando llegue a la casa voy a subir unas graficas que tengo... En enero me fue muyyy bn. Quede entre los mayores ganadores de bodog de nl100 del mes!.. Este febrero no he jugado tanto ya que comenze mis estudios de nuevo. El mes lo llevo en negativo... Asi que mi reto va a ser retomar y terminar por lo menos 1k positivo.

Ahora veo el poker con otros ojos. Ya no es un juego donde saco una pasta de vez en cuando... Lo veo como una fuente de ingresos necesaria ya que ahora trabajo menos horas en el lugar donde era profesor de matematicas...

Pues eso deseadme suerte este semestre!

Resumen 2009 y comienzos 2010

Pues el 2009 fue un buen ano para mi. Lo principal es que obtuve un promedio perfecto durante todo el año! Me gane una beca buena, y lo mas posible es que me acepten en UCLA!!! Si quieren alguna referencia, UCLA es la escuela donde fue Chris Ferguson, y tambn es escuela hermana de donde va 'nanonoko'.

Ojala yo tambien haga historia como ellos :)

Pokerilmente hablando, empeze en Full Tilt, no me gusto la sala... fue el unico lugar donde me pwnearon! :(

Despues me pase a bodog porque es una sala pequena y no queria jugar mucho. Aqui esta la grafica:



Los objetivos de este 2010 son ganar unas 25K en el poker, y principalmente ir a UCLA con una beca que me cubra todos los gastos.

No voy a estar haciendo updates en el blog porque me da pereza.

Grinding

I tried to grind this last weekend of the month. Played about 13hrs, results were not bad, but they could have been wayyyy better. Tons of badbeats. The expected value got a hugeee gap in comparison with my actual winnings.

Non-poker related: Im going to be attending to a conference in D.C., so thats the reason why Ive been playing lately. I wanna have money to blow up over there.

I also started writting my personal statement. Im going to be applying this fall to transfer. I decided that Im going to apply to MIT, UCI, UCLA, Berkeley, Stanford, and Duke university.

Im also gonna be going to Colombia on December. My brother is graduating from med school! Im probably gonna be bragging about having a brother who is a doctor for a couple of months!

Whats up!

Well after having one of the best days of my lifes (financially speaking), i f*cked up big time. I decided to play higher limits and the result was not nice. Lost I think a little over $1k, but thats poker. Here is the graph for the month:

Pues hoy ha sido mi mejor dia pokeril hasta la fecha. Les dejo la foto.



He estado tanteando un poquito nl200. No me he metido de llano pq todavia tengo que jugar mas manos en nl100. Si me subo de nivel seria el nivel en el que menos he jugado manos. He jugado unas 13k manos en nl100 aprox. Con un buen winrate.

Pues eso. Ya termine con el reto. $2k. La verdad fue bastante mas facil de lo que pense. Me tomo 34hrs de juego, y lo hice en la mitad del plazo de un mes. Por ahora hice cash out de $500 y a darme unos lujillos ^^

Termine la clase de algebra lineal y ecuaciones diferenciales con una A :]

Primera semana de agosto

Pues voy a dar el update. El reto va bien por ahora. Llevo 1K en las mesas mas unos $90 de rakeback. Parece ser que el reto va a ser facil de cumplir.

Este fin de semana voy a jugar menos porque tengo un final en una semana y quiero sacar otra A para seguir ganando becas! :]

A destacar, empece nuevo nivel. Estoy jugando nl100 sh. Llevo una buena racha impresionante. Llevo 1348 manos (absolutamente nada) a 63.5bb/100! lol soy un puto luckbox!
